Nothing jumps out at me in this quarter. I suppose the Gulbis/Querrey first rounder could be dramatic. Rafa takes this quarter handily.

Murray could lose before the third round if he's not on point from jump. Former champ Gaudio is going to make another go of it, but I'd be surprised if he wins his opening match. Gonzo could take this quarter.

Andy in Raja's quarter again. In his opening match, Andy gets the wild card the USTA gave up. Ironic. Many of the usual suspects the No. 2 seed enjoys beating so Raja takes this quarter.

Serena has never lost the opening round of a Slam in her entire illustrious career. If she's not ready to run, run, run, that staggering streak could come to an end. This is a tough quarter. If Sveta's head is screwed on, she can take this quarter. But Schnyder always plays well in Paris. Dechy enjoys playing in front of her people. The Pennetta/Glatch match could be a barnburner if the American brings her A-game on her favorite surface. I'm going with Sveta to take it.
