History is on the line for both players. Roger Federer can tie the men's Slam singles record and complete the career Grand Slam. Robin Söderling can become the first player of this era to defeat Rafael Nadal and Federer at a Slam, like the women's singles champion, knock off the No. 1 and No. 2 seed en route to the title, and will be the first player fro Sweden to win a Slam singles title since Stefan Edberg in 1992. A Swede already won the boys title earlier this morning.

I wonder how much water they drenched the courts with.

It was the Swiss star's  first Roland Garros title and helped him become only the sixth man to  complete a career Grand Slam. Fererer won 6/1,7/6,6/4.
