Svetlana Kuznetsova kisses her trophy after getting a huge monkey off her back. The tennis was abysmal, but we've come to expect that from at least one side of the court in a women's Slam final.

Dinara Safina needs a different approach to tennis. For all the hard work and effort she has put into her fitness and her game, it's unfortunate she depends so much on her coach, that she holds such little regard for herself and her abilities. "Why am I so chicken?" isn't something her coach can answer and certainly not something to ask him between points on center court in a Slam final.

Sveta answered with her grit and determination. As has been written, finally beating Serena Williams in a Slam has made all the difference in her world. Imagine where she might be today were she able to overcome that same hurdle against Justine Henin?

Just imagine.
