US Open series title to [Sam] Querrey proving that the title has limited to no value in the real world, wallets notwithstanding, when just playing tournaments and getting at least to the quarters will win you the title, as no real competition showed up week in, week out. Sounds like the basis of Safina's being No. 1, doesn't it?
