Lucky loser Zuzana Ondraskova, who replaced an injured Elena Bovina, didn't stand a chance. Serena Williams ended the Czech's luck in the first round of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix without dropping a game.
"I think I played really well. Most of all I am excited to be back at the tournament," said Serena, who hasn't played this event since 1999 when it was held at Filderstadt.
