The Jerk Sauce Has Arrived!

Regulars readers will know that our very own karen has been threatening on and off to send me authentic Jamaican jerk sauce from her native land. When I finally told the world I would root for her beloved player in the US Open final, the threat was on again.

Threat turned to promise. Promise made good. Just a few minutes ago, FedEx (appropriately!) delivered not just one but two bottles of jerk sauce to my door. I got a Jamaican Country Style (JCS) brand and a Grace brand.

Still warm enough to fire up a grill here in Maine. I'll be barbequeing some jerk chicken and ribs in the next few days.

My mouth is already watering.
